Job Description

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The program aims to recruit 4,000 participants, men and women aged 35-79 years who are either healthy, at risk, or who have known cardiovascular disease. The program provides the technical and logistical infrastructure for collecting and maintaining biospecimens and the data and associated information derived from biological materials such as blood, body fluids, tissue samples, genomic data, microbiomic data, digital health data, and imaging studies. https://cvsignature.ca

We are seeking a proactive and organized Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution of clinical research studies by managing participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, preparing study documents, processing blood samples, and handling various administrative tasks. This role also involves ordering supplies, providing coverage for administrative tasks during teammate vacations, and supporting the team by completing additional tasks as directed by the manager.

Additional information

Status: Temporary, part time (4 days a week, 7 hours a day)
Pay Scale: $23.80 to $44.19. Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Work Site: 5100 De Maisonneuve
