RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHCThe Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).Position summaryWe are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. Under the immediate supervision of the principal investigator, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the successful conduct and coordination of two large correctional studies focused on sexually transmitted and bloodborne infections (STBBI) surveillance across Canada. Travel may be required.General Duties • Acting as the direct link between the investigator, the research team and external study sites,• Overseeing study initiation and conduct of various correctional studies focused on STBBIs,• Uphold scientific integrity,• Assisting with participant recruitment, data collection, and storing of study documents according to the research protocol,• Ensure proper and efficient documentation and research organization in a timely manner,• Assisting in the development of protocols, consent forms, questionnaires and other study documents, • Assisting with ethic submissions and amendments,• Assisting in the preparation and submission of abstracts and manuscripts,• Performing other job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including support to other investigators and research coordinators.

Education: Master's Degree Field of Study: Public health, epidemiology, or other related fieldsWork Experience: • A minimum of two years of clinical research experience in an academic environment or/and in a clinical research organization required,• Work experience in the field of STBBIs and/or a prison setting is an asset.
• Excellent French and English, spoken and written,• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,• Strong sense of organization and high degree of efficiency,• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook),• Advanced programming skills in R or a similar program is an asset.
Status: Temporary, full time Pay Scale:$43,316.00 - $80,425.80 Commensurate with education and experience Work Shift: 8AM to 4PM, Monday to FridayWork Site: 5252 de Maisonneuve with travel to study sites.
